Mishi Chowdary
Mishi Choudhary is a Lawyer and a free Software activist, currently operating out of her office at Software freedom law center (SFLC), New York.
After earning a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Hindu College and an LLB from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, she pursued litigation at the Supreme Court of India and High Court of Delhi.
In 2008, she earned her masters in Law degree from Columbia University in the City of New York where she was a Stone Scholar.
She has been associated with SFLC as their Indian Representative since 2005 and has worked for creating awareness amongst Politicians, Government officials, Judges and Lawyers about the development and adoption of FOSS in India. She has also worked extensively on issues relating to Software Patents, Digital Rights management, Privacy and Internet .She is going to establish and run the Indian office of the Software Freedom Law Center in New Delhi, India.
