As part of the Second International Conference on Freedom in Computing, Development and Culture an exhibition for students and public on free software philosophy and projects will be conducted during 9-11,December 2008 at Kanakakkunnu Palace grounds. The "Freedom Expo 2008 " is envisaged to showcase the history and importance of free software movements in the world through it's poster exhibition and free software projects demonstration. The IT policy of Govt. of Kerala had ascertained the role of free software in e-governance, education, health etc. The successful examples of Kerala Govt. initiatives like ORUMA, INSIGHT etc,will be displayed in this exhibition.
